Synopsis

Documentary "The King" by Dejan Acimovic is a sport and the life story of Darko Kralj, Croatian paraolympian and world record holder in the shot put. This is testimony about the indomitable spirit and fascinating man, whose sporting achievements and results (which the most significant is the medal at Paralympic Games in 2008.) surpass even those of athletes without disability.

Dejan Aćimović graduated at Academy of Drama Arts in Zagreb in 1986. As a film actor he starred in many croatian and foreign films. In 2000 he directed his first film feature “Is it clear, my friend?” and received Golden Arena Award for the supporting role and for the set design at the Pula Film Festival.
