Rich programme on the 4th day of the festival!
25.08.2012. 15:44:56The 4th day of the festival will begin with a public discussion about film authorship law led by Stribor Jurčić, authorship law specialist. The intriguing topic of authorship rights protection became a hot topic after the recent protests and fierce discussions connected with ACTA.
Today’s programme begins with documentary film Chernobyl’s Heritage: The Zone, which will be presented by its directors Anton Bendarjevskiy i Márk Maczelka.
At tonight’s projection, director Pavel G. Vesnakov will present his movie Trains, together with the leading actress Monica Balcheva.
Two extraordinary feature films from the main program will also be presented tonight: this year’s winner of several Czech Lion Awards, Flower Buds, which will be presented by its director Zdeněk Jiráský and actress Kateřina Jandačkova.
Ljudožder vegetarijanac (Vegetarian Canibal), a film by a famous Croatian director Branko Schmidt, begins tonight at 9 p.m. at the terrace of the Agency for Waterways. Based on the book of the same name, this controversial film won two Golden Arenas at Pula Film Festival (for best director and best leading actor) and an Oktavijan Award.
