GOLDEN ROSE FESTIVAL 2012.-AWARD OF THE UNION OF BULGARIA FILM MAKERS
Dana and Dju are old high-school friends. They didn’t see each other for decade. The two women decide to head to the sea – only to discover their favorite wild places being transformed into hotel complexes. They head to the northernmost village up the Black Sea Coast. On the road they meet Dju’s friend Lilly and she joins them. The idyll is soon destroyed - the local policeman asks them to leave their camp and hide in a cave on the coast, and the local tugs are harassing them. They celebrate 'July Morning' – a custom of waiting for the sunrise at the seaside. They discover Natasha - Ukrainian, shot in the shoulder - she ran away from white slave traffickers. The women’s attempt to seek help form the locals is futile.
