THE WINNERS OF 7TH VUKOVAR FILM FESTIVAL

Jury members composed Đelo Hadžiselimović , Predrag Miki Manojlovic and Branko Somen , decided on the winners 7th Vukovar film festival !

Gold barge and purchase rights for theatrical distribution for the best feature film belongs to the movie " Child Pose " by Romanian director Calin Peter Netzer .

" Heavy , dark , sad story about the life of two families after a tragic accident dramatically illustrates the state of society. As do all universal recognizable elements of our time : the poor and helpless little man, arrogance and unscrupulousness oft he rich ones, manipulation, corruption , betrayal and the greed. And all through the desperate struggle of one - parent who lost a child , and others who are fighting not to lose one . ", says jury.

Gold barge for best short film and a money award of 500 euros of  7th Vukovar film festival belongs to the film " Swing for the gravedigger " by Azerbaijani director Elmar Iman, originated in the German production. Sponsor of the award was PBZ Card American Express.

" A touching story about a father who makes burial caskets and handicapped son illustrates the rigors of time and space in which it occurs. Rough paternal relationship with his ailing son reflects weakness of a struggle with life's adversities and at the same time with every detail of the desperate expression of love and concern for their child , " says the explanation of the jury.

Gold barge and a cash award of 1,000 euros for the best documentary film belongs to Croatian film Married to the Swiss directed by Arsen Oremović. Sponsor of the award was PBZ Card American Express.

 The jury was proposed and accepted that the direction of the festival for the first time this year bring Award Krsto Papic for special , individual contribution for all categories in the Croatian film. Because himself Krsto Papic has always been uncompromising author, who is a special , contemporary sensibility opened for new visions of cinematic expression and shifted the boundaries of film form in the categories of movies. It was decided that the award Krsto Papic belonges to Goran Navojec for his role in Croatian film 'The Bug'.
