Croatian premiere takes place in the new attraction – ship on the blue Danube
Six years ago Michael Moore, the most engaged documetaristfilmaker of our time, made his last film – and he is now back with excellent title “Where to Invade Next?. Film is to premiere on film festival in Vukovar.
Moore decides to visit some of the European countries, as his criticism towards all forms of American politics leads him to believe that US should learn and take over many practices of others. He visits Italy where workers have such vacation leaves and free days that are almost non-existent in US, while in France he witnesses school meals that serve only two portions of French fries per year to children. In Finland, he examines the education system, in Slovenia he finds out that US citizens come to study in Ljubljana as the studies are international, of good quality and also free of charge, compared to loans in US students have to take to attend high education. In Germany he sees clearing of the past, while US has never apologized for their genocide against the Afro-Americans, while in Island, the gender equality astonishes him.
Moore pathways are funny, with seasoning of sarcasm, irony and bitter humor while he still remains a political romantic, who believes in utopia – an ideal society..
