Storyline

Pat and Mat, the most famous animated handymen on TV and inseparable friends for over 40 years, are coming to the silver screen. While doing up the house and garden and trimming their bodies, they will again face many challenges to be overcome with their unexpected gimmicks and typical zeal, only to utter the famous catchphrase at the end: That's it!

Marek Benes was born 1960 (21. October) in Prague. He is a Czech film director and screenwriter, son of famous director and animator Lubomir Benes, best known as the creator of Pat&Mat an animated series about two highly inventive, yet incredibly clumsy neighbours. After the father's death, Marek founded his own studio Patmat Film and directed and wrote the first animated full-length feature about Pat&Mat – Pat and Mat in a Movie.
