Storyline
From internationally acclaimed director Quentin Dupieux, Mandibles is a wild and surreal road movie, an utterly unique comedy about friendship, big dreams and bigger disasters, all set in motion by the discovery of a giant fly. When simple-minded friends Jean-Gab and Manu find a giant fly trapped in the boot of a car, they decide to train it in the hope of making a ton of cash.
About the director
Quentin Dupieux was born on April 14, 1974 in Clamart, Hauts-de-Seine, France. He is a director and writer, known for Rubber (2010), Deerskin (2019) and Wrong (2012). Mr. Oizo, a pseudonym of French record producer and film director Quentin Dupieux, is a successful French techno musician, mostly known for his 1999 track, "Flat Beat". His pseudonym is a corruption of the French oiseau, meaning "bird". He is currently signed to French electro record label, Ed Banger Records.
