About festival

What is the purpose of film festivals, particularly these days when everything is available on the Internet? Among all those reality shows and online videos do we need movies at all?

Awards

12th Vukovar film festival will award the talents with up to eight valuable prizes: Golden Barge for the best long feature, Golden Barge for the best short feature and Golden Barge for the best documentary while American Express sponsors the last two. Beside these, the jury has the right to give Special Mention to one film from each cathegories in competition. The traditional Krsto Papić award for special contribution to Croatian cinematography, and life achievements award.

Same as last year, on 12th Vukovar Film Festival we have two juries - one for short and feature films and the other for documentaries.

Accomodation in Vukovar

For all the movie fans and the adventurers, in collaboration with city of Vukovar, festival campsite is organized. It is placed at Danubian sand island called Adaand is free of charge.
