Biography

Radu Jude (1977) graduated from the filmmaking department of Media University Bucharest. He worked as an assistant director for feature films shot in Romania, like ‘Amen’ by Costa-Gavras, ‘The Rage’ by Radu Muntean and ‘The Death of Mr. Lazarescu’ by Cristi Puiu. His 2006 short film ‘The Tube with the Hat’ won numerous awards and hearts of audience on Zagreb Film Festival 2007.
