Storyline

Writer and director Mladen Maticevic is bringing us his new documentary feature with the elements of a feature film about musical genius Vlada Divljan. All of the most important authors from Ex-Yugoslavia territore are participating in the movie who especially for this occasion recorded new versions of Vlada's songs which they're also performing. This kind of authorship and the number of active participants are making this movie unique project which has never been seen in our region. By its form and narrative structure, the movie is very similar to its main protagonist – at the same time it is a documentary and a fairy tale, emotional and romantic. The movie was filmed at locations in Belgrade, Zagreb, Wiena, Rovinj and Brac.

About the director

Mladen Maticevic graduated film and TV directing at FDU in Belgrade, Serbia. He directed over 20 documentary films, TV series „Neki novi klinci“ (2003) and two award-winning feature films – „Jedan na jedan“ (2002) and „Zajedno“ (2011).
